Proposals for East and West Quarry, Appley Bridge
Mainsprint Limited are preparing to submit a planning application for proposals at East and West Quarry on Appley Lane North, Appley Bridge.
Following extensive pre-application discussions with Planning Officers at West Lancashire Borough Council, we are now looking for feedback on our initial proposals from local people. This consultation exercise gives residents in the area an opportunity to see the broad ideas which have been incorporated into an illustrative layout for the sites before a formal application is submitted to the Council.
The layout also includes West Quarry as it is intended that this be used for open space (recreation) and a car park.

The public exhibition has now taken place and a number of comments have been received. We will analyse the comments over the coming weeks and continue to move towards the submission of a planning application.
